Bihar: Judge directs man to marry girlfriend after he posts obscene video

Patna: A civil court in Bihar’s Jamui district has directed a youth to marry a woman after he posted an obscene video of her online.

According to reports, Digvijay Kumar Paswan and Pooja had been in love since the past four years, but recently had a fallout over an argument.

Following the spat, Digvijay filmed an obscene video of Pooja and posted it online in order to get back at her.

Digvijay was arrested after Pooja filed a police complaint against him, but in a bizarre ruling, the civil court directed the couple to tie the knot within 15 days.

Following the judgement, the couple tied the knot on Thursday in presence of police officers, with Digvijay still wearing handcuffs, following which, he was taken back to jail and Pooja was taken to her in-laws’ place.
