Srinagar: Three terrorists have gunned down in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam in an operation that was launched after a policeman was abducted and killed.
Central Reserve Police Force along with Indian Army and state police engaged with the terrorists 70 km from Srinagar in Khudwani.

S P Vaid, Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir said, "Three terrorists were killed in Kulgam early morning today. They were involved in kidnapping and killing of a police constable yesterday. Bodies of the terrorists and two AK-47 rifles have been recovered. One terrorist was associated with LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) and the two were locals."
Mobile internet has been snapped in Kulgam and Anantnag.
The search operation was launched on intelligence input about the movement of terrorists in the area. The search operation turned into an encounter as soon as terrorist fired at security forces.
