Public Service Comission: 9 notifications, but no jobs in Telangana
Hyderabad: Hundreds of aspirants preparing for Group-II, Group-I, Group-I Services and Gurukul examinations for the last several years, are agitated due to postponement of nine recruitment notifications by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Thursday.
Adding to the woes of the aspirants was the stay order by the Hyderabad High Court on Monday on a written test scheduled for July 30 for recruitment of woman lecturers in government residential degree colleges in TS.
On June 2, TSPSC had announced the results of its Group II services' written examination held in 2016. Many allegations against the results followed because of the use of whitener and bubbling in the OMR sheets.
TSPSC had also clarified that no candidate would lose out due to misguidance or confusion at the centres at the time of examination. Aspirants are, however, distressed about the controversies in the Group-II recruitment process and Gurukul exams.
Radha Gopal, a Group-II aspirant who qualified at the written test said, “When the results were announced it was found that many aspirants used whitener. Whatever notifications TSPSC gives, the issue goes to the court; none of the notifications were successful till now due to which we are suffering. How long should we wait to get a job and for how many years should we study to get government job?"
Dudapaka Naresh a Gurukul aspirant said, "We are not able to concentrate on our preparations either because we do not know if the exams will take place or will it be cancelled. The government should take strict action against the negligent officials.”
