Nellore: TTD joint executive officer in Tirupati B. Lakshmikantham said the TTD would roll out a training programme on sanatana dharma for NRI kids residing at New York, Dallas, Kentland, Pittsburgh besides Bahrain and Muscat.
He was addressing his monthly phone-in programme, ‘Bhaktulato Bhavadiyudu’ at his chambers in TTD administrative building at Tirupati on Friday morning.
Mr Lakshmikantham said the classes would last a month and would comprise lessons on sanatana dharma, the glory of Lord Venkateswara, spiritual and devotional customs and traditions, the importance of festivals, etc.
Responding to a query by Jagdish of Vijayawada the JEO said the TTD would examine a proposal to gift saplings of tulasi, bilvam, usiri, and maredu plants as Vriksha Prasadam to devotees.
