Angry Telangana Rashtra Samithi seeks action against MP T G Venkatesh

“The TRS will meet the same fate if it fails to extend support to demand for SCS to AP,” he had said.

Hyderabad: The TRS on Thursday hit back at TD MP T.G. Venkatesh who said the TD would give a call to AP-origin people residing in Telangana to vote against the TRS in 2019 if its government did not support AP in its demand for special status. Mr Venkatesh had said on Wednesday that the TD had given a call to AP people living in Karnataka to vote against the BJP in the recent Karnataka Assembly elections, due to which the BJP could not secure a majority.

“The TRS will meet the same fate if it fails to extend support to demand for SCS to AP,” he had said. “If Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu encourages persons like T.G. Venkatesh, it will only result in disruption of good ties between the Telugu states. We dema-nd that the AP Chief Minister immediately explain his remarks and initiate action against Venkatesh,” said TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar.
