KPSC postings: Karnataka High Court refuses to vacate order
Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday refused to vacate its earlier order directing state government not to issue appointment orders to 362 KPSC candidates, selected for the Group A and B posts of gazetted probationers in the 2011 batch recruitment in terms of the order of the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT).
The KAT had quashed the Government Order dated August 14, 2014, and, further, directed the State Government to issue appointment order to the applicants. Several unsuccessful candidates had approached High Court following which the court in an interim order had restrained the state from making any appointment in terms of the order passed by the KAT. The state government had approached the court filing applications seeking to vacate its earlier order restraining authorities from issuing appointments. The court rejected the applications.
