Our workers can pick up arms to save EVMs, says Upendra Kushwaha
Political temperature has been high after an exit poll showed a landslide victory for the NDA in the Lok Sabha elections.
Patna: RLSP Chief Upendra Kushwaha has stoked a controversy by warning the Election Commission of “bloodshed” to save votes and EVMs. He gave the statement on Tuesday during a joint press conference conducted by the grand alliance partners in Patna.
“Our workers can go up to any extent to save their votes and EVMs from being tampered. Our workers can even pick up and arms and there could be bloodshed on the streets if votes are looted and EVMs are tampered”, Mr Kushwaha said.
Political temperature has been high after an exit poll showed a landslide victory for the NDA in the Lok Sabha elections. A day earlier RJD leader Teja-shwi Yadav had called the exit poll “a trick by RSS”.
