Telangana: IIT-JEE- Some papers tough

Students have different observations.

Hyderabad: Chemistry was tough, said some candidates while some found physics tougher For some, maths “was 40 percent tough, 60 percent easy. The overall level was seen as moderate.

Paper 1, compared to last year, was seen as easier by students. Experts, however opined that paper 2 was easier than last year’s. Some said it was easier than paper 1.

Paper 1 had a mix of questions of multiple-choice, integer type and passage type. It carried 183 marks against last year that offered 186 marks, say experts. Each subject carried 61 marks. The format and constitution for physics, chemistry and mathematics was same.

Ravi Kiran, an aspirant from Warangal, said, “I found the examination to be moderately tough but paper-2 was not so easy. Physics and chemistry were moderate but mathematics was easy.”
