Chandigarh: This Mogambo had himself fallen prey to the 'bad guys' and now his return has left everyone happy -- including the police.
A six-month-old pit bull terrier, named after the memorable Bollywood villain with a penchant for dunking enemies in acid, was allegedly stolen from outside the house of a district court magistrate here on Saturday.

"The dog was found near the back door of the house this morning," said Inspector Dalip Rattan, SHO of Sector 19 police station.
Police had initially suspected that a couple of schoolboys were behind the dastardly deed. A vegetable vendor had told them that he saw two boys in school uniform, who were riding a scooter, stealing the dog from near the main gate of the house.
The dog was playing in the garden of the Sector 19 residence of the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMIC) at that time, while the magistrate, a dog-lover, was in the court here.
The SHO said that it was possible that those who had taken away the dog had dumped him close to the house after which he walked back to the premises.
