Asaduddin Owaisi promises Christians support on National Prayer Day

Hyderabad: The Christian Council of Telangana held its Telangana state and National Prayer day on Friday. This annual event was initiated after the formation of Telangana state.

Almost 60,000 people gathered at the Lal Bahadur Stadium, the venue. Most of the Christian denominations took part in this, the fifth year of the prayer meet.

MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi was a special guest. He said he will always be there for the Christians if they needed any help. The nation’s future is at stake and the Indian Constitution is in danger, he said, and called on his Indian brothers to together fight against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Registry of Citizens.

Rev D. Mohan, chief of the Assemblies of God ministry was the special guest for the event. Brother Raj Prakesh Paul led the praise and worship.

The community called for universal peace and harmony. The message that went out was about brotherly love and living in harmony with everyone in this nation.
Minister K.T. Rama Rao was supposed to be present but couldn’t attend the event. Present at the event were Dr D. Rajeshwar Rao, a Christian Legislative Council member, and Dr Vidya Sravanthi, co-opted member, GHMC.
