Kerala: Fire at commercial street guts 15 shops, 10 fire tenders rushed

As many as 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames and efforts were made to control the flames from spreading.

Kozikhode: A major fire broke out at SM Street located in Kerala's Kozikhode on Wednesday
SM Street is a big commercial street and is popularly known as Mittai Theruvu.
Reportedly, the fire broke out in a textile shop around 11:30 am, following which approximately 15 shops were gutted.
As many as 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames and efforts were made to control the flames from spreading out in the streets which had restaurants.
No causalities have been reported yet.
