Dial a greeting to Jayalalithaa on her birthday
Chennai: The IT wing of AIADMK has launched a novel initiative to help the people across the world to greet the party’s General Secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on the occasion of her 68th birthday on February 24. Mobile and landline telephone networks have been enabled to allow the common man, party cadres and others to greet the Chief Minister on her birthday.
People can dial – 77670-20002 or 044-331-24 234 to register their greetings in the network. The service would be available from February 22 to midnight of February 24 (midnight). When he dials, the caller would be invited by a voice message to register name, place and greeting to ‘Amma’. After registering the message, the connection would be snapped in 30 seconds.
Speaking to DC, IT-Wing secretary, Aspire K. Swaminathan said the wing is using the modern telecom service to provide a platform to several lakhs of people across the world to register their birthday greetings to the Chief Minister.
Efforts are being made to receive and record 6,000 greetings per minute in the network. After recording all the messages, the IT-Wing will submit the greetings to the Chief Minister.
