CM Chandrababu Naidu flayed for neglecting' Seema
Anantapur: Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samiti founder Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy lashed out at Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu that he was diverting Rayalaseema profits towards development of coastal areas including Amaravati capital.
The rich mining income was not being used for the development of backward Rayalaseema region and the rulers were indirectly obstructing development by creating negative feelings among the investors, the Rayalaseema leader lamented.
Mr Rajasekhar Reddy was on bus yatra at all parts of Rayalaseema region to create awareness among the people about the stage government ignoring the region and looting of rich mines and developing other parts.
Speaking at public meeting in Adoni, the RPS leader alleged that the Chief Minister was badly neglecting the region instead of establishing a steel factory in the area. He recalled the slogan "Visakha Ukku Andhrula Hakku" simply benefited the coastal region while Rayalasee-ma failed to achieve any benefit. "Though, we exp-ected employment opportunities through Steel Factory in Kadapa district, the delay in establishing the factory badly wiped out the hopes of employment for the unemployed youth in the region," he observed and stressed the need for a separate state, if the situation continued.
