Minor fire causes panic on AP Express

Railway officials said fire started after brake liners of the train got stuck

WARANGAL: A minor fire broke out on AP Express going from Visakhapatnam to New Delhi as it reached Nekkonda Railway Station in Warangal district Friday early morning. Railway staff immediately put out the fire.

All passengers disembarked from the train in panic as the train got engulfed by smoke.

Railway officials said fire started after brake liners of the train got stuck.

AP Express halted for about 30 minutes before heading for New Delhi after repairs.
