NSUI launches Behtar Bharat at Osmania University

Students can register in Behtar Bharat through their smart phones.

Hyderabad: The Congress-backed National Students Union of India (NSUI) launched a programme called Behtar Bharat at Osmania University in Hyderabad on Monday. The programme is aimed at solving student-related issues. Students can register in Behtar Bharat through their smart phones.

TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, NSUI national in-charge Ruchi Gupta and AICC secretaries launched the programme.

Mr Reddy told mediapersons, “Behtar Bharat is the vision of AICC president Rahul Gandhi. The role of youth in developing the country is so crucial. We will appoint representatives of Behtar Bharat in every college. The Telangana Congress will support the programme. NSUI is coming up with several initiatives for empowering the youth.”

NSUI state president Balamuri Venkat spoke about how the programme would work. “Students can register with their smart phones and can inform us about any issues that they are facing. The NSUI will always fight for the welfare of students and the programme takes us to the advanced level. We should thank AICC president Rahul Gandhi for implementing and encouraging this programme that will help the student community,” he said.
