Jagan to offer registration titles on houses to beneficiaries under Gruha Hakku

Under the scheme, as many as 52 lakh beneficiaries to get all rights on their houses

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to offer registration titles of houses to the beneficiaries under Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku scheme at Tanuku in West Godavari on Tuesday.

Under the scheme, as many as 52 lakh beneficiaries to get all rights on their houses and the state government had waived off loans worth nearly 10,000 crore and also registration charges and stamp duty worth Rs 6,000 crore.

As part of Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku scheme, the beneficiary will get all rights on the house and it is up to the beneficiary either to sell away, gift it and even offer it to his children and also to mortgage to raise loans for family needs. The state government waived off Rs 10,000 crore worth of loans of 40 lakh beneficiaries as they raised loans by mortgaging their houses and also for the construction of houses up to Aug. 15, 2011. Nearly 12 lakh beneficiaries get registration of their houses by paying a nominal amount of Rs 10 and getting all rights on their houses. The properties of beneficiaries were withdrawn from the list of prohibited properties and the beneficiaries can get registration of their houses at village/ward secretariats and there is no need for any link documents for the sale of from the title issued under the scheme.
