Weren't called to present our case: Olive Hospital
Hyderabad: Olive Hospital, where the operation on Hardik Jena was conducted, has claimed that the board carrying out the inquiry did not call it to present its side of the case.
A hospital official said, “The inquiry in the office of the director of Health and Medical Education has not called the hospital doctors. The medical papers and forensic reports were submitted to the Health and Medical Education office, but there has not been any communication on the inquiry since then.”
Dr Ravinder Reddy, chairman of the State Medical Council, said, “The inquiry report in cases of medical negligence are given to the council which looks into it further, and only then can action be taken. We speak to the aggrieved relatives and the doctors to arrive at a conclusion.”
