Pampa: BJP MPs Nalinkumar Kattil and V. Muraleedharan launched a protest at the Sannidhanam police station on Tuesday night after nine RSS workers were taken into custody by the police.
The activists, who belonged to Oachira and Paravoor in Kollam district, had come to Sabarimala to create trouble as per the circular issued by the RSS, the police said. The BJP MPs were camping at Sannidanam since morning. The arrested may be produced before a magistrate, sources said.

Though a group of protesters started reciting slogans at Nadapandal defying police orders, they were subdued later.
