Kollam: The NSS karayogam office in Kottarakkara was vandalised by unidentified miscreants on Tuesday morning. The flag pole in front of the office at Irunoor here was completely damaged in the attack. The office bearers have filed petition with the Kottarakkara police, following which a probe was initiated.
The attack is the latest in a series of attacks that took place against NSS offices across the state in the recent past.
A black flag and a wreath offering condolences to General Secretary G. Sukumaran Nair were spotted at the NSS office at Kudashinad in Noor-anad in Alappuzha on November 7. Similar incidents also took place in Kudashinad NSS high school and an NSS office in Pootha-kkulam in Kollam.
Attack on NSS office took place at Pappanamcode in Thiruvananthapuram on November 2. The glasses were broken and a wreath criticising NSS had been recovered from the spot.
