Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police has issued instructions to all commercial establishments located in Madhapur to take up safety precautions. It has warned them of severe action if they fail to comply. This comes ahead of the GES summit, which is being hosted at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC).
In an official release, the Cyberabad police said that as per Section 3 of the Public Safety Enfor-cement Act 2013, establishments frequented by many people shall maintain measures like closed circuit TV cameras with storage options for 30 days.
Police said that owners should provide video foo-tage once in every six months to the local police.
For the first month of default, Rs 5000 fine will be imposed and for second month Rs 10,000 fine will be imposed. If they fail to comply within two months period, the premises will be sealed by the police.
