Case against TRS MLA Gangula Kamalakar for threatening BJP official spokesperson

Karimnagar: Karimnagar II-town police on Saturday registered a case against the former TRS MLA Gangula Kamalakar for threatening a BJP official spokesperson Bandi Sanjay of Karimnagar during a press conference.

Bandi Sanjay had contested against the Gangula Kamalakar in the last election and stood second. It is learnt that the police registered cases on the instruction of the Election Commission and an inquiry was conducted by top district officials.

The BJP leagal cell lodged a complaint with the police stating that Gangula Kamalakar threatened with dire consequences saying that “Nuvvu Katham Avuthav Bidda’.

The police registered cases under 188, 505 (I) (C), 506 sections against Gangula Kamalakar.
