Hyderabad: The road from Panjagutta to the Rajiv Gandhi statue at Somajiguda will be widened by acquiring properties to an extent of 456.40 square yards.
The GHMC standing committee meeting, chaired by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, also approved the construction of a flyover at Nalgonda crossroads on Thursday.
The committee approved widening of the road from Botanical Garden, Kondapur, to the Hafeezpet station. The road from JV Hills, Kondapur to Kondapur crossroads via Raghavendranagar colony, will also be widened.
The meeting also approved the construction of 88,055 2BHK houses, with administrative sanction for Rs 7,616 crore that includes the GHMC’s share of Rs 792.50 crore.
