Hyderabad: A Jaipur-bound Jet Airways flight returned to Mumbai Wednesday after several passengers suffered nasal and ear bleeding. According to the DGCA officials, the incident occurred after the flight crew forgot to select a switch which maintained the cabin pressure. An airline expert said, the crew missed out a routine check and emergency system (oxygen masks) worked as intended.
This incident is just a negligence of the crew and the crew should be punished and I am sure they will be but I have not heard of any such incidents where such checks were frequently skipped. Many passengers demanded compensation for the incident. The passengers also alleged that the airlines lack basic skills to take care of traumatised people and other issues that are mandatory before we take flight.
