Hyderabad: The Bench and Bar of the High Court on Tuesday paid rich tributes to eminent lawyer and activist Bojja Tarakam, who died on September 16, saying it was not only a loss to his family but also to the judiciary,
Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan, judges and members of the legal fraternity assembled in the First Court in the afternoon to pay homage. They recalled the services rendered by Tarakam to the judiciary and society, particularly the Dalits and oppressed classes. They observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect. Court work was suspended for the day.
