Bengaluru: The High Court on Tuesday issued notice to several MLAs and MPs including former chief minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC chief Dinesh Gundurao and 22 others with regard to a petition related to police transfers.
According to the petition they had issued recommendation letters for seeking transfer of the police officers contrary to the Supreme Court judgement in Prakash Singh Vs Union of India case.
The matter stands adjourned to September 24. Some of the MLAs who are issued with the notice in this case have been disqualified. They are R. Roshan Baig, K. Sudhakar and Munirathna.
