Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Monday took up the issue of the dilapidated condition of the statue of revolutionary poet Srirangam Srinivasa Rao at Tank Bund suo motu as a PIL.
Justice U. Durga Prasada Rao had written a letter to the Chief Justice referring to reports with regard to the dilapidated condition of the statue requesting to take up the issue as a PIL and issue appropriate direction to the authorities to protect it.
