KTSV Principal: Students forced to join anti-Amnesty protest
Bengaluru: The principal of KTSV college in Rajajinagar has filed a complaint with the Magadi Road police stating that some unidentified person had forced the students to join protests on Thursday.
While the ABVP has intensified protests demanding the arrest of the organisers of the recent ‘Broken Families’ event, it was alleged that the complaint was filed against ABVP activists. However the police have clarified that the complaint was against ‘unidentified’ people.
“On Thursday, some people reportedly entered the college premises and forced PU students, who are minors, to come and join the protests. Learning about the incident, the Principal approached the Magadi Road police station and filed a complaint against the unidentified people. As the case involved minors, an FIR was registered under section 363 (punishment for kidnap) of the IPC. We have launched the probe into the case,” Assistant Commissioner of Police of Vijayanagar sub division told Deccan Chronicle.
