Thiruvananthapuram: Missing Vizhinjam fishermen return
They said they had been drifted away for 20 nautical miles by the wind and had a narrow escape from a collision with a ship.
Thiruvananthapuram: All the four fishermen who were missing from Vizhinjam on Wednesday returned from the deep sea on Saturday.
Yesudasan (55) of Palluvila, Antony (50) and Louis (53) of Puthiyathura and Benny (33) of Nediyavilakam were left at sea without food for three days after their boat's engine stopped.
They said they had been drifted away for 20 nautical miles by the wind and had a narrow escape from a collision with a ship. They had water sufficient for only two days. They were hospitalised immediately on landing here.
