The country has failed in realising a sustainable development model.

The innovative technologies coming up in the industries are opening fresh opportunities and economic progress, he said addressing a session on Change and Economic Development at the Tamil Brahmin's Global Meet here on Saturday.

The transport and health sectors have witnessed the maximum changes, he said. India has to move ahead, he said. It is yet to utilise its resources fully.

The country has failed in realising a sustainable development model. The inefficiency of the public transport system is a glaring example.
