MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi questions Kashmir policy

He said that the percentage of poverty among Muslims was 68 while it was 75 per cent overall.

HYDERABAD: MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the BJP government at the Centre over its failure to come clear on the Kashmir policy. Speaking during the no-confidence motion, he said, “For every two militants killed in Kashmir, one soldier is getting martyred in Kashmir. What is the policy of the government in Kashmir? So far 124 soldiers have died this year in Kashmir.”

“What is your policy? The policy has increased walls of hatred, it is promoting enmity and violence. Do you want a Congress-free India or a Muslim-Dalit-free India,” Mr Owaisi asked. He said that the percentage of poverty among Muslims was 68 while it was 75 per cent overall. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about giving a computer and the Quran in the hands of Muslims. I don’t see any,” he said.
