Big opportunity lost, says Pawan Kalyan
Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Friday criticised the BJP and the TD for wasting a great opportunity given to them by the people of AP. They could have truly stood by the people instead of indulging in political theatrics costing the public’s time and money. In a tweet on Friday, the Jana Sena chief said he joined the people of Andhra Pradesh in urging the BJP-led Union government to respond positively to the demand of Special Category Status for the state.
“No greater platform than Parliament to understand and empathise with this right of ours. Please deliver justice,” Mr Pawan Kalyan has urged. Janasena Krishna and Guntur districts incharge Muttamsetty Krishna Rao criticised the TD for not giving opportunity to MPs of BC and SC communities to participating in the discussion.
The decision of TD president and AP Chief Minister not to give an opportunity to party floor leader Thota Narasimham to speak in the Lok Sabha was objectionable and an insult to the BC communities, Mr Krishna Rao said. He alleged that Mr Naidu was pampering his own community by getting party MP Galla Jayadev to speak on the no-trust motion, he alleged.
