Hyderabad: Assuming that the girl he is in love with will reciprocate, a 20-year-old daily wage earner cut off his tongue to offer it as a sacrifice at a temple in Mahbubnagar district.
The person was identified as Boya Mallesh. According to sources, Mallesh, hailing from Duppalli village in Madanapuram mandal in Wanaparthy district, is working as a JCB driver in Hyderabad.
On Wednesday he came home to meet his father. At the Kurumurthy temple, he cut off his tongue, but unable to bear the pain, he started screaming, while his tongue fell to the floor.
