Nellore: In what could be seen as a stellar achievement, the online booking initiative of 256 kalyana mandapams of TTD has clocked 90% occupancy level. Following a special drive of TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal to streamline devotee facilitation in TTD Kalyana mandapams, five of them at Kuppam, Rajam, Narsa-puram, Mahbubnagar and Bengaluru have bagged prestigious ISI certificates under personal monitoring by Tirupati JEO

Lakshmikantham.The TTD has set forth an ambitious agenda to procure such recognition for many more kalyana mandapams through modernising infrastructure and streamlining administration in a phased manner. It rolled out renovation of kalyana mandapams at Narsapuram in West Godavari, Rajam in Srikakulam and Mahbub-nagar in Telangana with redesign and repainting, kitchen, dining hall, the bride and groom rooms besides installing LED lights, fans, etc. Similarly, the wedding platforms were decked with portraits from Sri Padmavathi Parinayam and colourful photos of Lord Venkateswara and his consorts besides lush green landscapes with flower gardens.
TTD has fine-tuned supervision of kalyana mandapams and staff is available on a 24x7 basis to organise all social and cultural events like weddings, thread ceremony, namakaranam, shasti poorti, annaprasana, Satyanara-yana vratam and wedding receptions, etc. All the 256 TTD Kalyana mandapams have been brought to the online booking network through the ttdsevaonline.com.
They include 184 in AP, 65 in Telangana, 1 in Odisha, 3 in Karnataka, 1 in Kerala and 2 in Tamil Nadu.
HOW TO BOOK ONLINE
After registration on the website ttdsevaonline.com, devotees should select their location: state, district etc., select vacancy dates, upload their data like Aadhaar card, photo ID, contact details and make payment of specified fees.
Thereafter they would get an SMS, which will be their receipt, which the concerned supervisor of kalyana mandapam will also get a copy, for verification at the time of the event.
