Kurnool: RTI activist files case against KGGH chief

He said he was aggrieved by the abuses hurled at him and sought the protection of police.

Kurnool: A SC, ST atrocity case was filed against the superintendent of Kurnool government general hospital (KGGH) Dr P Chandrsekhar for giving false information to a query filed under RTI act on the affairs of Kurnool Heart Foundation (KHF).

Dr P. Chandrasekar is a secretary for the Kurnool Heart Foundation located in the Budavarapet in the city.

The complainant, A. Venkataswamy, a resident of Kurnool city, approached II Town police station lodged a complaint stating that the secretary of KHF and the Kurnool government hospital superintendent had abused him by calling name of his community and origin.

He said he was aggrieved by the abuses hurled at him and sought the protection of police.

The police had registered a case under Section 420 of IPS and also under relevant sections of SC, ST atrocity provision act.

The hospital superintendent Dr P. Chandrasekhar was on leave for the past week days. However, Chandrasekar said that it was a false case filed against him for ulterior motive. He said there was no truth in the allegation and nuisance case, with which he had nothing to do.
