For Yoga Day today, Bengaluru cops issue traffic advisory

Anticipating traffic congestion around the stadium and the police have issued the following advisories.

Bengaluru: With the city celebrating fourth Yoga Day at the Kanteerava stadium, the city traffic police have issued advisories owing to VVIP and VIP movements, along with large number of school students who will participate on Thursday.

The event is expected to be held between 6 am and 8.30am where Chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy along many other VVIPs and VIPs will take part.

Anticipating traffic congestion around the stadium and the police have issued the following advisories.

Parking of vehicles will be prohibited on Kasturba Road, from Hudson Circle to Siddalingaiah Circle, Vittal Mallya Road, Mallya Hospital Road, and R.R.M.R. Road.

Parking will be provided for VIP vehicles at the Kanteerava Outdoor stadium and around Kanteerava Indoor Stadium (entry from Kasturba Road).

Parking for cars and two-wheelers will be provided at St Joseph's Indian High School Ground (Entry from Gate No. 1 and 2 on Mallya Hospital Road).

Buses ferrying students can park on Cubbon Road from BRV Junction to CTO Circle, Central Street, from Anil Kumble circle to BRV Junction, M G Road, from Anil Kumble Circle to Arts and Crafts Circle (Metro Side), after dropping the students in front of the stadium.
