Chennai: The Directorate of government examinations will release the plus-2 revaluation and retotalling results on Thursday. “The details of candidates whose marks changed after revaluation will be released on scan.tndge.in website. The rest of the candidates’ marks are unchanged,” D. Vasundradevi, Director of Government Exams, said in a release on Wednesday.
The results will be released at 2 p.m. The candidates can also download their temporary mark sheets by registering their date of birth and roll number from www.dge.tn.nic.in.
This year the number of candidates who applied for revaluation was down by 35 per cent compared to last year. While over 4,000 students sought revaluation to their answer scripts last year, the number has come down to 2,600 this year, according to sources.
The students applied for the revaluation from June 4 to 6. Over 400 students sought revaluation in biology subject and it was followed by chemistry with 380 applications. In physics and maths subjects, around 280 and 250 students wanted to reevaluate their answer scripts.
