YSRC punters betted that their party will get not less than 120 seats.

On Sunday Pulivendula saw more than Rs 35 lakh betting on seats secured by the YSRC. High amounts of betting are on Kamalapuram, Rayachoti and Mydukuru and Jammalamadugu.

Mr Ramesh Kumar Reddy is the aspirant for the TD in Rayachoti, where G. Srikanth Reddy is the candidate for the YSRC. In the last elections too, both contested and Srikanth Reddy won with a margin of 32,000 votes.

Muslim voters dominate in Rayachoti, as they are over 60,000 in number. The TD expects their votes. In the last elections, Muslims did not vote for the TD because of the alliance with the BJP. This election, the TD has no alliance with the BJP and government has implemented many welfare activities for them.

Mydukur is also a prominent constituency where betting is going in speed. Here TTD chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav is contesting as the TD aspirant and sitting MLA S. Raghurami Reddy is the candidate for the YSRC. Senior leader D.L. Ravindra Reddy supports the YSRC.

In Jammalamadugu, rival groups in the TD are working together for this election as Ramasubbareddy is the Assembly candidate. Minister Adinarayana Reddy is contesting as the TD MP candidate. Doctor Sudheer Reddy is the aspirant for the YSRC.

According to sources here, more than Rs 2 crore betting was placed in this constituency. Overall in the district, nearly Rs 120 crore betting was placed in all constituencies.
