Question Naidu in Viveka murder, says minister

Vijayawada: Civil supplies minister Karumuri Nageswara Rao on Friday asked why Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has not questioned TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in Y.S. Vivekananda murder case, as he had been in power at the time of the murder.

Addressing media here, he accused Chandrababu of being behind the murder of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao. He alleged that the former CM had also planned to kill Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Visakhapatnam airport.

The minister said similarly, Vivekananda Reddy had been murdered when Naidu had been in power. Asking CBI to question Chandrababu, he suspected the role of TD leaders in Vivekananda murder case.

Nageswara Rao alleged that conspiracies and intrigues are part of TD chief’s politics. He said Naidu had back-stabbed TD founder N.T. Rama Rao and took over TD government, bicycle symbol and NTR trust properties.

The minister claimed that every time before elections, Chandrababu tells lies to make people believe in him. He pointed out that during 2014 elections, TD said if Naidu comes to power, people will get jobs (Babu Vaste – Job Vastundi). But he ended up deceiving the youth.

Nageswara Rao said the TD is again trying to deceive people, promising to turn poor into crorepatis. But people will not believe in the TD any more, he stated.
