Temperature to rise by 3 degree celsius in some districts

Most troughs which reflect the change in atmospheric conditions in the upper atmosphere bring clouds, showers, and a wind shift.

Hyderabad: Following the development of a low atmospheric pressure over Chhattishgarh, Telangana and Karnataka, the maximum temperature is likely to be two to three degree celsius above normal in parts of Telangana for the next five days.

Severe hailstorms were reported in isolated areas of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Karimnagar, Jagityal, Rajanna Sircilla, Kumaram Bheem, Yadadri-Bhuvan-agiri and Siddipet districts on Saturday afternoon.

The severe weather conditions are prevailing in the state due to the development of a trough a low atmospheric pressure at 1.5 km above mean sea level from Chhattisgarh to Coastal Karnataka crossing over the parts of Telangana.

Due to these disturbances, there is a confluence of hot and cold winds which result into severe thunderstorms and hailstorms in some areas, where the temperatures have risen.

Most troughs which reflect the change in atmospheric conditions in the upper atmosphere bring clouds, showers, and a wind shift.

The Indian Meterological Department has forecasted light to moderate rains and thundershowers to occur at isolated places in Telangana State.
