Hyderabad: A robbery took place in an advocate’s house at Agriculture Colony in Hasthinapuram under the Meerpet police station limits on Friday night. According to the police, Srinivas Bonne along with family members after having dinner went to sleep on Friday night.
On Saturday morning, at about 6.30 am when Srinivas’s wife Vasantha woke up, she found that the kitchen door was opened. When she checked the house, she found that an almirah in her bedroom was open.
Inspector of police, N. Yadaiah, Meerpet said, “Some unknown persons have gained entry into Srinivas’ house through the kitchen’s door by breaking the the tower bolt, and also committed theft”.
According to the complaint, two small gold necklaces of six tolas, gold bracelets of three tolas, three gold rings of one-and-a-half tola, a gold chain of one-and-a-half tola, a pair of ear tops of one tolas along with `5 lakh cash were missing. A total of `8.5 lakh was missing.
