CHENNAI: A knowledge base and research portal on the law of insolvency and bankruptcy, www.IBCcases. com was launched on Friday."The website provides a repository of case laws along with a brief and concise summary of all cases with ease of access and a user-friendly interface," said chairperson of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, MS Sahoo, who formally launched the portal at an event, AKM Insights 2018. A.K. Mylsamy (AKM) and Associates, a corporate law firm is behind the portal.
Sahoo also proposed to hold annual events where experts will focus on an in-depth analysis of a particular law and this year, they are focusing on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 (IBC).
A dedicated team at AKM would now track and concise, every order passed by the twelve benches of the National Company Law Tribunals, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and the Supreme Court for quick and easy understanding of the case.
AKM is now sharing their knowledge through the portal to enable corporates and professionals access the large repository of IBC cases.
