Hyderabad: 11 hurt as bus plunges into pit
The incident happened when the driver dozed off and lost control on the wheel.
Hyderabad: As many as 11 passengers travelling in a hyderabad bound private travels bus received injuries, when the bus they were travelling plunged into a pit beside the road on the NH 65 highway in the early hours of Friday. The incident happened when the driver dozed off and lost control on the wheel.
According to the police, the bus no AP 23Y 6966 owned by Venkateswara travels started from Bhadrachalam town with around 46 passengers and was heading to Hyderabad.
Around 3.30 in the morning, when the bus was passing through Aitipamula village, driver suddenly dozed off and lost control on the wheel. As a result, the bus went off the road and plunged into canal which was more than 20 feet deep and filled with water.
