Khammam: The Election Commission of India is very serious over counting each and every bit of activity and its expenditure into the account of candidates contesting in the elections.
The audit of expenditure of the candidates will be scrutinised seriously, and officers should be cautious in evaluating expenditure. Ramsing Shekavat said that a videographer’s team, assistant returning officers, flying squads, accounts teams, statistical surveillance teams, members of media certification and monitoring committees should be alert in counting every financial activity of the candidates. The information coming from C-vigil should be kept secret and complaints should be addressed without delay.
