Traffic curbs for 90 days for Hyderabad Metro Rail work
Hyderabad: In order to make arrangements for the early commencement of commercial operations of the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) in Corridor-1 (LB Nagar — Ameerpet) and for the completion of metro portal construction activities from Putlibowli Junction to Rangamahal Junction, Hyderabad traffic police has imposed traffic restrictions for a period of 90 days from March 21 to June, 18.
The commuters who intend to go towards Rangahamal Junction and Koti via Putlibowli are advised to co-operate with traffic police and use the alternative routes designated for them to avoid congestion.
The traffic diversions and restrictions include all RTC buses (district) and all heavy vehicles coming from Abids to MGBS via Putlibowli Junction will be diverted at GPO, Abids towards M.J. Market.
The Route No. 115 RTC bus stop has been shifted to 94 lane from Osmania Medical College and Route No. 115 buses will be diverted at 94 lane towards Bank Street at Andhra Bank, Koti and DM & HS, Chaderghat.
The Route Nos 1, 2, 3 buses and all other vehicular traffic coming towards Rangamahal Junction via Putlibowli will be diverted at Putlibowli Junction towards Gowliguda Chaman to Gurudwara to Shanker Sher Hotel to Afzalgunj ‘T’ Junction to Afzalgunj bus stand.
The RTC buses route Nos. 94 & 95 and other heavy vehicles will be diverted at Putlibowli Junction towards to Jambagh to M.J.Market to S.A.Bazar to Afzalgunj bus stand.
The vehicular traffic, except for the two wheelers will not be allowed from Afzalgunj ‘T’ Junction towards Putlibowli via Shankersher Hotel.
The vehicular traffic coming from bylanes towards Putlibowli Junction will be diverted at Gowliguda Chaman towards Gowliguda BSNL office to Jambagh.
