Model Engineering College comes out with flying colours in Sargam

Wins with 304 points; Cusat Main campus runners-up with 209.

KOCHI: Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara, were crowned winners with 304 points in Sargam 2016, the five-day Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) annual youth festival which concluded on Sunday. Cusat Main Campus finished second with 209 points while School of Engineering Cusat finished third with 199 points.

Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttanad finished fourth with 30 points while KVM COE and IT Cherthala finished fifth with 14 points.  The first prize in short story (Hindi) went to Prasara S, main campus while the second prize was bagged by Ashna A N, Model Engineering College.

 

In painting oil colour, Suman S of School of Engineering bagged first while Dayal of Main Campus bagged second prize. In Kolkali, Muneeb K V and the team of Model Engineering College bagged first place while the second place was won by Muhammed Fazil C P and team of the Main Campus.

In poster design, Abhijith Ashok of the School of Engineering won the first prize and Vasudev K Mohandas, School of Engineering won the second. For pencil drawing, Vishnu Gaikwad of School of Engineering got the first place and Abhijith Ashok of School of Engineering got the second place.

 

In painting water colour, the first prize was won by Rajath R of Model Engineering College and second by Dani Paulose of College of Engineering Munnar. In cartooning, the first prize was won by Hari Praved of Main Campus and second by Athul Krishna of College of Engineering Aranmula.

In Caricature, the first prize went to Amaljith George of School of Engineering and second to S Jithu of School of Engineering. In photography, the first prize went to Gokul V S, Main Campus and second to Alias Verghese, Bhavan’s Royal Institute of Management, Thiruvankulam. In Drama, Ambadi Kannan M S and the team of the Main campus won the first prize and the second prize went to Roshini R Panicker. (Result incomplete)
