Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu works to resolve differences between aspirants

Kotla Raghavendra Reddy, son of Sujatamma said that he was not staking any claim but ready to contest from any seat in the district.

Kurnool: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has shifted his focus to resolving the differences among ticket aspirants in Rayalaseema region.

Aspirants from Kurnool district were summoned to meet him in Amaravati on Thursday. Nandyal, Kurnool, Dhone, Pathikonda, Alur, Mantralayam and Kodumur constituencies had multiple leaders staking claim to seats.

With former Union minister Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy joining the TD, changing candidates has become inevitable in the district. Kotla was expected to contest in Kurnool LS seat while his wife Sujatamma was aspiring to contest from Dhone.

Kotla Raghavendra Reddy, son of Sujatamma said that he was not staking any claim but ready to contest from any seat in the district.

He is actively campaigning in the district. Former Congress leader D.L. Ravindra Reddy has been pursuing Mydukur seat while TTD chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav said that he is the natural choice for the seat. It was learnt that Chief Minister was upset with Putta Yadav as his close relative and Telangana State minister Talasani Yadav has been actively supporting YSRC. Talasani is said to have sent thousands of people to Eluru to attend the BC Garjana the other day.

Meanwhile, it was learnt that Palakondrayudu, a former legislator who was trying to secure a ticket to his son Prasad from Rayachoti, was offered TTD executive board member post but was not convinced with Naidu’s offer. Ramesh Kumar Reddy has fair chances, it is said.
