Chandrababu Naidu continues anti-Modi diatribe, says Centre failed
Vijayawada: TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu, who suffers from Modi-phobia, on Wednesday was at it again, indirectly demanding the latter’s resignation after saying the terror attack at Pulwama was the failure of the Union government.
Mr Naidu again said there were apprehensions among people about the attack. Speaking to TD leaders in a teleconference, he said that BJP leaders were belittling the nation with their “petty actions and wrongdoings”. He added that there was a threat to national security due to the inefficiency of the ruling party at the Centre.
At another programme, Mr Naidu recalled that the BJP leader, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, had demanded the resignation of the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, when one such terror attack took place in the country.
“In the past Modi had demanded the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s resignation over a terror attack. What will Modi do now?” he asked. He also said that the Union government was trying a cover-up act on the Pulwama terror attack.
