A Revanth Reddy probed about N Chandrababu Naidu's role

In the chargesheet registered in 2015 by the Anti Corruption Bureau, Mr Naidu's name appears 20 times.

Hyderabad: TPCC working president A. Revanth Reddy, prime accused in the cash-for-vote scam, was grilled for nine hours for the second consecutive day on Wednesday, by Enforcement Directorate. The ED also questioned Mr Reddy about the role of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the case.

In the chargesheet registered in 2015 by the Anti Corruption Bureau, Mr Naidu’s name appears 20 times. Mr Revanth Reddy, at the end of the day’s questioning, said, “The Modi government is trying to nail Naidu through TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Before the state elections, I was questioned by income-tax officers and the case has once again surfaced before the Lok Sabha elections.”

Mr Revanth Reddy was again questioned on the source of the '50 lakh that was offered to Anglo-Indian MLA Elvis Stephenson to vote in favor of the TD in the 2015 Legislative Council elections in Telangana state. As part of a mandatory practice, AP intelligence wing staff were present at the Enforcement Directorate office.
