AP orders salary in new payscales next month

Government employees will receive salaries according to revised pay scales from January and will be paid in February

VIJAYAWADA: The AP government on Thursday ordered the implementation of revised pay scales to the government employees according to the 11th Pay Revision Commission (PRC).

The finance (PC-TA) department issued procedural instructions for the fixation of the pay of employees in the revised pay scales.

Government employees will receive salaries according to revised pay scales from January and will be paid in February. Special chief secretary to government Shamsher Singh Rawat issued the orders.

Government employees are protesting the new PRC award and demanding the continuation of the old pay scales.

The government ordered the officials to use a new HRMS software module that was developed by the APCFSS to facilitate the pay fixation.

Orders were issued for pay all the five pending dearness allowance instalments in February.
