Govt invites cybersecurity cos with ideas

The programme is expected to begin this February at the upcoming CCoE campus here in the city.

Hyderabad: The Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE), a joint initiative of the Data Security Council of India and the Telangana state government, has invited applications from companies and start-ups in cybersecurity and data privacy domain for its upcoming incubator and accelerator centre.

The programme is expected to begin this February at the upcoming CCoE campus here in the city. Any individual or a team that has an idea or an existing solution with the potential to become a scalable business model can apply.

CCoE chief executive officer Dr Sriram Birudavolu said, “Start-ups are accepting the challenge of bringing newer ideas and scope in protecting enterprises from cyberattacks and protecting data. We would like to incubate such start-ups.”
